We did more than 3000 km to see whole west part of the country within just 7 days! The direction is: - Landing in Antalya (21 Jun) South of Turkey the ceneter of Turky mediterianian riviera. - Pamakulle and ancient city Hieropolis (22 Jun) Going north west. - Maria Mare (Jezus mother hill) and another ancient city Ephesium (23 Jun) Still heading north on west coast of Turky. - Pergamonium and ferry over straits of Dardanelles (24 Jun) Still going north and after ferry going north east. Again in europe. - Istanbul (25-26 Jun) 17,5 mln people crowded city - the biggest in Turky, but it's not the capitol. We have visited: Big Bazar.. the biggest covered bazar in the world - the paradise for girls ;-) The Blue Mosque, Top Kappe Palace and old christian church now the Aia Sofia Mosque - the museum curently. The trip over Bosporus. - Ankara the capitol and Cappadochia (27 Jun) Going east and from ancara going south slightly east. - Cappodichia and Konya (28-29 Jun) Cappodochia is a mistic place with underground cities, diged in tuff rock (vulcanic - very soft) Konya is a place where the Dervish monastery was established. They are know with their Whirling Dervishes prayer called SEMA. Heading south to Alanya for the 7days on the beach! Finally the real rest :-) - Alanya (30 Jun - 5 Jul) Laying down on the beach or swimmingpool and watching..... At the last day (or rather night - 4:10am) flight back to Krakow. This is raw snapshoot of the pic so sometimes they are too dark, too bright or unsharp. |
